Maru Kelara (Kaadhu Kekkadhura) - My first asttempt to Singing!

After gaining inspiration from KK, I decided to try my hand in singing too. For after all, I know how brave todays youngsters are. Folks with a light heart, and heavy blood pressure please stay out of this! I've tried to sing a Classical song - dint have any good software to record that so used Windows Sound Recorder!! If you know some good audio recording software's do let me know!

Song title: Marukelara
Raagam: Jayanthashree
Thalam: Adi

I've absolutely no ideas about classical music, and am a big zero in classical music, but still wanted to give a try, so music gurus, forgive for the horror you are about to hear!

Nice. You do have a nice voice. Keep posting more

I would like to point out that it's "marugelara oh raghava". It's easy to confuse because Tamil script doesn't distinguish between these sounds

Prasanna,

Kalakkareenga... Your introduction of Carnatic knowledge was honest. Considering that you do not have basic carnatic knowledge you have sung well. I appreciate your interest. Keep it up.

Prasanna, the voice sounds pretty good. Reminds me of the Hindu priests (not sure of the right word) singing in the movies. I can't carry a tune at all. Keep it up!
